(KLZA) - The $14-million renovation of the Oak Bowl at Peru State College is continuing with a goal of playing the homecoming game on the new turf on November 2nd which is homecoming for the Bobcats.
Peru State President Dr. Dan Hanson is excited about the opening.
While the renovation work continues the Bobcats will be utilizing some area high school stadiums for home games.
The season opener this Saturday against Dakota State University will be played at Bulldog Stadium in Auburn with a 4 p-m kickoff.
The Bobcats will host two games at Jug Brown Stadium in Falls City this fall. The first contest will be Saturday October 5th against Avila College with a 1 p-m kickoff. The second game will be Saturday October 19th against Culver-Stockton College, also with a 1 p-m kickoff.
Dr. Hanson expressed his gratitude to the staff and administrations at the local schools for allowing the Bobcats to utilize their facilities.
