(KLZA)-- The Grand Opening celebration of the Consolidated Grain and Barge facility on the south edge of Falls City begins at 5 p-m this afternoon.
Seth Post, Manager of the Falls City CGB facility is inviting the public in for a look at the new grain handling facility. ( play audio :19 seconds )
Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman and First District State Senator Dan Watermeier will speak during the event.
There will be additional parking available for guests at Airlanco, directly across Highway 73 from the CGB facility.
Post says the facility should be ready to begin accepting corn in a few days. ( play audio :11 seconds )
The CGB facility is located on the west side of Highway 73 next to the viaduct on the south edge of Falls City.
