A 42 year old Highland woman was arrested in Atchison County for driving an alleged stolen vehicle.

Chalfant remains in Atchison County jail on 10 thousand dollars bond.
It is to be determined if Leavenworth County will file formal charges on the felony theft of the motor vehicle, however, this (Tuesday) morning, Atchison County Attorney Gerald Kuckleman plans to file that charge until he hears otherwise from Leavenworth County prosecutors.
Chalfant’s next court date is February 13th.
