Atchison Man Pleads Guilty to Felony Worthless Check Charges

An Atchison man could face prison time after pleading guilty to felony worthless check charges.

Joshua Clary was convicted of writing worthless checks on two occasions to the apartment complex he was living in on September 2011, as well as a convenience store in May 2011.

He also pled guilty to a misdemeanor worthless check charge for writing one to a local grocery store in May 2010.

The two felony worthless check charges became that way due to two or more prior worthless check convictions.

He could face five to 17 months in prison for the felony charges.

Sentencing is scheduled for March 26th.
