(KLZA) The Nebraska unemployment rate for February was 3.8 percent, which was second lowest jobless rate in the country.
In extreme Southeast Nebraska, the unemployment rate fell in all counties for the month. Pawnee County had the lowest unemployment rate at 2.9 percent, down 4-tenths from January.
Nemaha County, Nebraska had the highest unemployment rate in the area at 5.6 percent, which was down 6-tenths from January.
In Richardson County, the February unemployment rate was 5.5 percent; Gage and Otoe Counties, 4.6 percent and in Johnson County, the 4.4 percent.
