Two Injured in Accident Near Oregon

(KTNC) -  Two northwest Missouri residents were injured in an accident near Oregon, Missouri Thursday afternoon.
 According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 56-year-old Kevin Volner of Maryville was driving a 2013 Toyota Tacoma westbound on Highway 59, when the drivers’ side duals came off of an eastbound semi and struck the front of Volner’s vehicle.
 Volner and a passenger in his pickup, 41-year-old Cherry Hopper of Maryville, were transported by ambulance to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph with minor injuries.
 The truck driver, Richard Ratliff of St. Joseph, was not injured.
 The accident occurred just after noon Thursday, two miles east of Oregon.
