Pawnee City Gets New Scoreboard
10/18/2013

(KTNC) -  There might be something new at this week's Pawnee City football game against Lourdes Central Catholic.  A scoreboard.
The old scoreboard at Pawnee City’s football field died just minutes before the Indians’ first home game this year, so they’ve been playing without a scoreboard since then.
The Pawnee City School Board this week approved the Pawnee City Public School Foundation’s recommendation to purchase a new scoreboard and sponsor sign for $5,500.
Superintendent Stephen Grizzle says several people have contacted the school to offer help in purchasing a new scoreboard.
The new scoreboard was to be delivered Thursday afternoon and Grizzle says they hope to have it installed before this week’s game.  He says the old scoreboard was about 25 to 30 years old.
