Nebraska Man Injured in Crash Near Rock Port
12/28/2013

(KTNC) --  A Columbus, Nebraska man was taken to an Omaha hospital after a crash on Interstate 29 in Atchison County Friday afternoon.
The accident occurred as 56-year-old Ronald Loseke was driving a 2000 Nissan Frontier northbound, four miles north of Rock Port, shortly after 1:00 p.m. Friday.  The Missouri State Patrol says Loseke’s vehicle went through the median, skidded across the southbound lanes, went down an embankment and overturned, coming to rest on its wheels.
Loseke was initially taken by ambulance to the Grape Community Hospital in Hamburg, and was later flown to University of Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha with injuries described as moderate in nature.  Authorities say Loseke was not wearing a seat belt.
