Turkey Causes Weekend Accident

(KTNC) - Two people from Omaha escaped with only minor injuries after their sport utility vehicle hit a turkey on Interstate 29 in Holt County, Missouri.
 Twenty-nine year-old Anna Adams was driving the 2002 Saturn SUV northbound on the interstate, just east of Oregon at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, when a turkey struck the windshield of the vehicle. 
 Adams was able to stop the SUV in a gravel crossover along the interstate.
 According to the Missouri State Patrol, both Anna Adams and a passenger, 32-year-old Jonathan Adams, sustained minor injuries.  Both refused treatment at the scene.
