(KTNC) -- The drivers of both vehicles were injured in a head-on collision in Holt County Thursday morning.  The accident happened at 7:10 Thursday morning, on U.S. Highway 59 in Oregon.
The Missouri State Patrol says Cassandra Neff of Mound City was driving a Ford Taurus southbound, when the car began skidding and crossed the centerline.  Neff’s car collided head-on with a northbound Dodge Ram, being driven by Brenten Hughes of Forest City.
Both vehicles came to rest in the roadway, blocking Highway 59.
Both Neff and Hughes were taken by ambulance to Heartland Regional Medical Center.  Neff’s injuries were described as moderate, while Hughes sustained minor injuries in the collision.
