A ball field at the Atchison Sports Complex will be named after fallen Atchison Police Sergeant David Enzbrenner.
In their regular meeting Monday morning, Atchison County Commissioners approved the request made by ASAF sports complex board member Chris Taylor.
Field four will now be named Sergeant David Enzbrenner Field number 309.

The park board hopes to have the sign posted by Thursday in time for the first Atchison High School softball game of the season.
The board is aiming for a formal dedication of the field after Memorial Day.
In other business, held are holding round one of interviews in executive session to find a new emergency preparedness and noxious weed director.
Due to commissioners attending a conference, they will move their regular Wednesday meeting to Friday to do their second batch of interviews in executive session.
According to the county counselor, nine candidates are scheduled for interview.
Monday, Commissioners also accepted the high bid of 11 thousand 183 dollars in tax credits from First National Bank of Louisburg to help fund the renovation of the women’s restroom at Memorial Hall.
