Nebraska Baseball Team Downs Creighton

Omaha, Neb. - The Nebraska baseball team (27-15, 8-7 Big Ten) earned its second win of the season over the Creighton Bluejays with a 4-1 win Tuesday night in Omaha.   Freshmen Austin Darby and Blake Headley, along with junior Kash Kalkowski and Kale Kiser each had two hits on the night, while Michael Pritchard extended his hitting streak to 19 games with a two-out single in the second inning.
Ryan Hander threw two innings and earned the win in the first start of career, striking out three and giving up just one hit.
The Huskers play three more non-conference games this weekend when the CSU Bakersfield Roadrunners visit Hawks Field for a three-game series. The series opener is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. on Friday, while Saturday's 2:05 game will be shown live on NET and the series is set to conclude on Sunday at 12:05 p.m.
