Competing in the lower division side of the Beloit Relays track meet Baileyville-B&B, Washington County and Clifton-Clyde won eight events between the three teams.
Highest team finish between the three came at the hands of Washington County who's girls squad took home second place out of 16 teams, while the Tigers boys squad won third out of 18 teams. The B&B girls finished in the top five, taking home fourth place, with the counterpart in the boys team finishing eleventh. The other local team Clifton-Clyde had their highest team finish with the boys finishing eighth, while their girls team finished fourteenth.
Between the three area teams won eight event titles; B&B won four of those, Washington County three and Clifton-Clyde one. For the Falcons of B&B it was two individuals standing out on the day winning two events each as Haley Strathman and Cody Heiman. Both Strathman and Heiman leaped their ways to victories; Strathman winning the high jump and triple jump titles and Heiman winning the high jump and long jump.
For the Tigers of Washington County they saw a multi-event winner on the day, too, as Jordyn Alexander tossed her way to wins in the shot put and discus throw. While Alexander's schoolmate, Tyler Kongs won the boys 800 meter run crown for the Tigers. For Clifton-Clyde the one event win came on the boys side with William Ohlde winning the 300 meter hurdles.
