Man has Charges Dropped, Probation Revoked, & Given Prison
05/08/2012

A 26-year-old Atchison man has charges dropped; probation revoked and has a prior prison sentence un-suspended in one day, Monday, in Atchison County Court.

Wallace Harper, Junior will serve 13 months in prison after having probation on a previous cocaine possession sentence revoked.

County Attorney Gerald Kuckleman dropped a felony possession of narcotics charge given to Harper following a late April arrest by Atchison Police.

However, he admitted that he violated terms of his probation, so Atchison County Judge Martin Asher quoted his prior record of drug convictions as reasoning behind being sent to the D-O-C.
