A 56-year-old Atchison man pleads guilty to amended theft charges Monday in Atchison County Court.
Nathaniel Burnett pled to a misdemeanor theft charge.
In exchange, another case involving two felony theft charges was dismissed.
In that case, Burnett was arrested by Atchison Police for allegedly taking two disabled motor vehicles and selling them to a Kansas City, Kansas auto salvage yard in November of 2011.
In the misdemeanor theft case he pled to, he was arrested for knowingly obtaining stolen wire fencing from Orscheln.
He could face up to a year in county jail and sentencing is scheduled for June 8th.
