School wraps up today in Valley Falls for students.
Last month, the school board voted to end school two and a half days early for the year for the students and the staff.
Superintendent Loren Feldkamp says it wasn’t only because of the lack of snow days…

In their regular board meeting Monday night, Feldkamp gave the board an update on summer maintenance projects.
He says renovation of three classrooms on the second floor of the high school could begin as soon as tomorrow.
They will also create a new art room, as the old art room will be part of the third project, a new interactive distance learning room.
The board also had preliminary discussion on adding a vestibule (vest-uh-bull) to the west entrance to the new addition of the high school.
