Scottie sophomore center fielder Jeremy Monty (Colorado Springs, CO) was rewarded for an outstanding season by being selected to the Jayhawk East All Conference First Team, as well as the eleven player All Region VI Team.
Monty led the Scotties with a .418 batting average, had forty-eight runs scored, eight doubles, three triples, two home runs, and twenty-four RBIs. He also had twenty-four stolen bases in twenty-seven attempts and had one hundred twenty-three put-outs and six assists in the outfield.
Freshman outfielder Tyler Goldsberry (Papillion, NE) was selected to the Honorable Mention group of the Jayhawk East All Conference Team.
Goldsberry hit .415 with thirty-eight runs scored, nine doubles, six triples, two home runs, and thirty-five RBIs. He also had fourteen stolen bases and nine assists from the outfield.
