Dozens made it up early Saturday morning for the Effingham 2k/5k fun run around the community.
Fort Hays State track and cross country athlete Gentry Linscott was the winner of the 5k and Karina Johnson was deemed the winner of 2k.
Linscott, an Effingham native, says she likes these kinds of races, which are different from running in high school or college events.
