Atchison County Commissioners get another proposal for a potential countywide EMS service.
Commissioners on Monday heard a proposal from Techs Inc, based in Jackson County.
County Commissioner Jeff Schuele says the proposal was vague, but they will learn more from the group over time.

Techs joins AMR and Heartland Regional of Saint Joseph that have offered proposals.
Schuele says they either will choose from those proposals, having their own service or doing a regional service with Miami County during the budget cycle.
Speaking of the budget, Commissioners have now sent out memos to department heads to schedule times for meeting in budget workshops over the next 60 days.
