A Saturday evening single vehicle Marshall County crash sends a Marysville man to the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says it happened on US Highway 77, north of Blue Rapids, when 32-year-old Steven Smith was northbound on Highway 77.
His Ford pickup left the east edge of the road, came back on the road, and Smith overcorrected. That caused the truck to crash into the east guardrail, with the impact causing the pick-up to overturn.
Smith, who was buckled up, was taken to the Community Memorial Hospital for treatment of what the patrol identifies as disabling injuries.
The wreck happened 10 minutes before 7:00 Saturday evening.
