Overnight storms are to blame for thousands of people in Atchison County to be without power this morning.
According to Westar spokesman Shane Batchelder, two-thouand 650 customers were affected, mainly in rural areas, some of which are still without power.
The largest area affected was the Lancaster area.
Eight power lines were affected, with the earliest going down at 4:15 this morning.
Power for most customers was restored around eight this morning.
