53 year old Richard A. Kirkendall of Falls City has been sentenced to five years in prison on a third offense DUI charge.
In addition, Kirkendall was ordered by Richardson County District Court Judge Daniel Bryan to serve six months in the Richardson County Jail on a misdemeanor charge of driving under revocation. That sentence will be served concurrently to the prison sentence. Kirkendall was allowed credit for 136 day served in jail. He was also ordered to pay court costs of $219.
Kirkendall was first sent to prison in 1983 for DUI in Richardson County. He was imprisoned again in 1994 on two counts of driving while his license was revoked. In 1998 Kirkendall was sentenced to prison again for driving while his license was revoked.
In 2002 Kirkendall was sentenced to prison in Seward County for driving while his license was suspended for 15 years.
