A Leona couple will be sentenced August 29th on two felony drug charges.
43-year-old Brian Thorburn and 37-year-old Kristy Stroh recently pleaded no contest in Doniphan County District Court to charges of possession of methamphetamines and possession of drug paraphernalia.
In exchange for the plea, two other felony drug charges were dismissed against the couple.
The couple were charged after the Doniphan County Sheriff’s Department served a search warrant on their residence at 307 Maple in Leona on February 16th, seizing a quantity of ingredients used in the manufacture of meth.
