The third annual Sprint Triathlon was held Saturday at the Falls City Aquatic Center. About three-dozen individual participants swam 300-meters, then biked 15 kilometers and ran 5 kilometers.
The top male finisher, and overall winner, was Tristan Collins. He completed the course in a time of 52-minutes, 22-seconds.
The top female finisher was Dana McCabe, with a time of 56-minutes, 48-seconds.
This year also featured, for the first year, a Kids’ Triathlon, for competitors age 14 and younger. Ten individuals and one team participated in the youth triathlon, which featured a 150-meter swim, two-mile bike, and one-mile run.
The top male finisher in the youth triathlon was Tyler Bosewell in a time of 21-minutes, 48-seconds. The first girl to cross the finish line was Molly Kettler in a time of 24-minutes, 18-seconds.
