(KLZA) The July Issue of Hospitals & Health Networks Magazine has named Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn as one of the nations Most Wired. It is the sixth time in the past seven years Nemaha County Hospital has received the recognition.
Most wired represents the use of information technology to improve patient care and safety. Use of Electronic Medical Records provides all care givers the latest patient data including allergies, medications, treatments, history, test results and plan of care issues. It also incorporates electronic medication administration cabinets and barcode scanning of patient ID bands to ensure safe medication administration.
