(KLZA) The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of a one-vehicle accident that was discovered Friday morning in Richardson County.
71 year old Dennis Last of Papillion was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident after his car was discovered near 651 and 719 Road east of Shubert.
It is believed the accident occurred Thursday night. Last has family in the area and has cattle in the area that he comes to check on several times a week. It appears Last had topped a hill on 719 Road and lost control of his 2003 Crown Victoria on the gravel, sliding into the south ditch, rolling and pinning him in side the car. Dennis Last was the only occupant in the vehicle.
The Richardson County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Nebraska State Patrol and the Nemaha Rescue Squad.
