(KAIR) -- The Atchison area American Red Cross is hosting two flu and pneumonia shot clinics in the region.
The first one will take place in Effingham Friday afternoon from 3:30 to six at the Atchison County Community Schools Junior Senior High library.
Director Kim Bottorff says they will be offering two different types of flu shots.

The second clinic will be Monday at the American Red Cross office in Atchsion at 504 ½ Kansas Avenue, behind the Project Concern building from nine until two.
Bottorff says the shot is free if you present the proper insurance cards.

Otherwise, the flu shot will cost 30 dollars and 65 dollars for a pneumonia shot.
The flu shots are only allowed for those ages 18 through 64.
The pneumonia shots are approved only for those 65 and older.
