(KLZA) The Pawnee County Board of Commissioners have selected a new county attorney.
Following an interview, the commission Tuesday voted to offer the position to Jennifer Stehlik-Ladman.
Following the meeting, she turned in a written acceptance of the position.
The commission last week interviewed four candidates for the position.
Stehlik-Ladman is a Pawnee City High School graduate and received her Law Degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law. She previously served as a public defender in Columbus and has worked as a criminal prosecutor in the Seward County Attorney’s Office. She has worked at the Stehlik Law Office in Pawnee City since 2011.
Current Pawnee County Attorney Victor Faesser informed the Board earlier he plans to resign in December.
