(KTNC) - Information about Auburn Public Schools can now be accessed through your smartphone.
The Auburn School District has launched a mobile app for smart phones that will allow the district to communicate with students, parents, and other district patrons, about the latest news and activities happening in the district.
The Auburn School District is working with a company called Crescerance on the new technology. Superintendent Kevin Reiman explains how to access the new app. (play audio :40)
The new mobile app will be updated regularly to provide the latest information. Reiman explains the information the app currently contains. (play audio :44)
There are also links to maps to Auburn Public School Buildings and athletic facilities, along with information about Auburn Public Schools social media sites.
Reiman says they also anticipate someday being able to use the mobile app to notify parents when school is closed due to inclement weather. You can learn more about Auburn Public Schools at their Web site, www.auburnpublicschools.org.
