(KAIR) -- A retirement reception is planned for outgoing Atchison County Register of Deeds Marlene Wagner.
The reception, which is free and open to the public, will be Friday, January 11th from nine until noon in the courthouse with a special presentation set for 10.
Wagner first began her courthouse career in 1990.
She was elected Register of Deeds and came into office in 1993 and was re-elected since until her announcement of not seeking another term this past election cycle.
