(KTNC)--An inmate at the Nemaha County Nebraska Jail was transported to a Lincoln Hospital this past weekend after attempting to commit suicide.
The Nemaha County Sheriff’s Department says jailers responded to the suicide attempt on Saturday.
The inmate, whose name was not released, remained in the Lincoln hospital as of Monday morning. The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating the incident.
