(KLZA)-- A Cortland, Nebraska man suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle crash early Monday morning on Interstate 29 about one mile east of Craig, Missouri.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, 54-year-old Andrew Pitcher was northbound in a 2003 Chevy Suburban when he fell asleep. The vehicle rolled several times before coming to rest on its wheels off the east side of the roadway.
Pitcher was transported to the Community Hospital in Fairfax and later transferred to Bryan West Hospital in Lincoln for treatment of his injuries.
According to the Highway Patrol report, the Suburban was totaled. Pitcher was wearing a safety device at the time of the crash.
