(KLZA)-- A Tarkio teenager suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle wreck Tuesday evening.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 19-year-old Matthew Robinson was westbound on Highway 136, about two miles east of Tarkio ,when his pickup crossed the center of the roadway and went off the highway, striking an embankment.
The cab of the pickup broke away from the frame and rolled. Robinson was wearing a safety restraint at the time of the wreck.
Robinson was transported by ambulance to the Fairfax Community Hospital.
The Atchison County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Highway Patrol at the scene of the wreck.
