A 42 year old Atchison man is facing two counts each of aggravated sexual battery and aggravated burglary.
Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson explains the arrest of Kevin Simmons.
Wilson Simmons RT: :17 OC: “…on Wednesday.”
Wilson says these incidents allegedly occurred on September 17th and October 6th of 2011.
State statutes describe aggravated sexual battery as unlawful touching in a sexual manner by force.
Simmons posted a 75 thousand dollars bond just over an hour after being booked.
Formal charges have been filed and he will make his next appearance in court on February 3rd.
