The Auburn Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has called for a special meeting of all Auburn Chamber members to approve the sale of the former chamber building at 1211 J Street.
The meeting will be held Wednesday, February 8th at 5:30 p-m at Auburn City Hall in the Council Chambers.
In order to comply with title insurance requirements it is necessary that every Auburn Chamber members cast their vote either for or against the sale. You may also cast your vote by proxy via e-mail to auburnchamberofcommerce@gmail.com, mail your vote to the Auburn Chamber of Commerce or drop it off at the Chamber office.
The sale price of the building is $9,500. The asking price had been $10,000. At this point the Board of Directors has not established a use for the funds.
Remember a “yes” vote authorizes the sale of the property and a “no” vote denies authorization of the sale of the property.
