A 66 year old Nortonville man is in the Jefferson county jail on sexual exploitation of a child charges.
According to Jefferson County Sheriff Jeff Herrig, Burton Tribble was arrested Thursday afternoon by Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies for allegedly possessing downloaded sexually explicit internet material of children under 10.
The sheriff’s department assisted the original investigation started by the Internet Crimes Against Children Division of the Wichita Police Department and the Kansas Attorney General’s office.
Tribble awaits bond and formal charges as of Friday.
