Huskers Finalize Football Schedule For 2012
LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) _ Nebraska has completed its 2012 football
schedule with the announcement of a Sept. 22 home game against
Idaho State.
The athletic department also said Thursday that non-conference
home games have been finalized with Florida Atlantic in 2014, BYU
in 2015 and South Alabama in 2015 and 2019.
Idaho State is an FCS member from the Big Sky Conference. The
Bengals were 2-9 last season, with one of their wins against
Division II Western State. They lost eight straight to finish.
In the past three seasons Idaho State has played BYU, Washington
State, Georgia, Arizona State and Oklahoma.
The 2014 opener against Florida Atlantic will pit Nebraska coach
Bo Pelini against his brother, Carl, who was named Owls head coach
in December after serving as Bo's defensive coordinator from
2008-11.
