Nebraska Head Football Coach Bo Pelini officially announced Wednesday that he has filled the vacancy on his coaching staff by hiring Terry Joseph as the new secondary coach.
Joseph comes to Nebraska after two seasons as defensive backs coach and recruiting coordinator at the University of Tennessee. He has helped the Tennessee defense rank among the nations top pass defenses each of the past two seasons.
Joseph will take over a Husker defensive backfield that returns nine players who started at least one game in 2011.
Joseph is the counsin of former Husker quarterback Mickey Joseph, a four-year letterman for the Huskers from 1988-1991.
