Through the America’s Farmers Grow Communities Program sponsored by Monsanto, Thomas J. Gist of Rulo has won a gift of $2,500 which will be presented to the Falls City Library and Arts Center.
The program gives farmers the opportunity to win $2,500 for their favorite local non-profit organization.
A Monsanto representative will present a check to the Falls City Library and Arts Center at 4 p-m on Wednesday, March 7th.
The Monsanto Fund expects to invest more than $3.1-million in local communities. Nearly 60,000 farmers participated in the second annual Grow Communities program.
