The Peru State College baseball team stretched its winning streak to 12 games this week, with four wins in two days at the Metrodome Classic in Minneapolis.
On Monday, the Bobcats defeated the University of Winnipeg-Wesman by scores of 10-0 and 10-0.
The 'Cats came back Tuesday to post 11-0 and 5-3 victories in a doubleheader sweep of Mayville State University of North Dakota.
With the four wins, Peru State is now 12-2 on the season. The 12 game winning streak is the Bobcats' longest in more than a decade.
Peru State heads to Ottawa, Kansas for doubleheaders against Ottawa University this Saturday and Sunday before playing their first home game of the season Tuesday against Nebraska Wesleyan.
