(KAIR) -- A power line insulator failure in north Atchison was the cause for hundreds to be without power Sunday afternoon.
That’s according to Westar Spokesperson Erin LaRow.
The outage, which lasted for just over an hour, affected 550 customers.
The line was located off K7 highway, parallel to N Street, causing traffic to be re-routed by Atchison Police.
