(KAIR) -- Two map proposals for re-districting were brought to Atchison County Commissioners by GIS Tech Roger Denton Monday afternoon.
County Commissioner Mike Bodenhausen says the maps showed a population imbalance, as re-districting hasn’t occurred in over 40 years.

Bodenhausen says the proposed maps will be on the county web site www.atchisoncountyks.org within the next two weeks for citizens to view and provide feedback to the Commission.
Commissioners have a goal to act on new re-districting maps in March.
