Commissioners Move Forward with Bridge Replacement
04/10/2013

(KAIR) -- After running into a string of steps that must be met before a rural Atchison County bridge could be replaced, officials have found a new, faster way to fix to the bridge.

Commissioners Monday authorized Road and Bridge Supervisor Matt Dorssom to apply for a general permit to fix a bridge at 310th and Cherokee in the northwest portion of the county.

In other business, Commissioners acted as the board of canvassers and accepted six of 20 provisional ballots.

Those provisional’s did not affect the outcome of last week’s final general municipal election results.
