One of Atchison County’s Commissioners wants to address rumors and misconceptions about Commissioner re-districting and a potential expansion of the county commission.
Commissioners had a short discussion earlier this week about re-drawing the three commissioner district’s lines.
Schuele says it may be time to do that in the distant future.

Schuele wanted to address the situation after getting several calls from concerned citizens.
Commissioners also had short discussion on the potential of having five county commissioners instead of three.
Schuele says that’s just an option that could be looked at depending on re-districting data results.
