A 27-year-old Atchison man pled guilty to amended drug charges Monday in Atchison County District Court
In late May, Atchison County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a disturbance that led to the arrest of Anthony Pennington at his residence on Phillips Road.
During a search, a substance determined to be methamphetamine was found by Deputies.
As part of the plea deal, Pennington had counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and domestic battery dismissed.
He could face 10 to 42 months in prison.
Sentencing is scheduled for July 23rd.
He is free on 10 thousand dollars bond.
