A second suspect in the burglary and theft of scrap metal from a garage in Atchison is in custody.
Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson says 40-year-old Christopher Harvey was arrested Tuesday morning on a charge of burglary and misdemeanor theft.
Authorities allege he and 44-year-old Christopher Thomas broke into a garage in the 300 block of South 2nd Street on June 11th and took the items.
The items have since been recovered.
Thomas was booked and posted a 10 thousand dollar bond last Friday.
Harvey remains in jail as of Thursday morning on 10 thousand dollars bond.
