That’s Spider Shell with the Atchison County Fair Board.
Shell says they have received several calls from citizens and organizations concerned about high temperatures and water restrictions being posed by the City of Effingham, causing the fair’s cancellation.
Shell says they have a plan in place to address the water restrictions.

Shell encourages people planning to attend August 7th through 11th to stay hydrated.
