(KNZA)--Voters heading to the polls today will select, depending on location, local offices ranging from County Sheriff to County Commissioner.
Special questions are also found on the ballot, as well as the familiar names of Presidential candidates Obama and Romney.
However, along with the two party Democratic and Republican candidates, other choices are also listed, including Chuck Baldwin and Joseph Martin as the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Candidates for the Reform Party.
The Libertarian Party, which has, since 2008 grown significantly in Kansas membership, is also represented, with former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson seeking the Presidency while Judge James Gray runs as his Vice-Presidential selection.
Gray, the former presiding Judge of the Orange County, California Superior Court, was in Kansas and Missouri Monday, stopping in Topeka, Lawrence and Kansas City.
He tells us that while the two major parties remain the focus of national attention, a little known, but major change, could be found in this years presidential election which would forever change the playing field of America's political system(Play Audio)
The Libertarian Party is also represented in the race for the State's 2nd Congressional Seat, with Ozawkie attorney Dennis Hawver challenging incumbent Republican Lynn Jenkins and Democratic challenger Tobias Schlingensiepen, a Topeka minister.
The polls are open until 7:00 this evening, and once they close, and the numbers begin to be reported, we'll bring you full election coverage right here, through the evening, on your official voice for Decision 2012.
