(KNZA)--A Clarksdale, Missouri man who formerly lived in the Doniphan County community of Elwood, is going to prison for sex crimes involving a young boy.
According to the Kansas Chief, 27-year-old Michael Lee Thompson, who pleaded guilty to a felony charge of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, learned his fate in Doniphan County District Court.
Thompson was sentenced to 61 months behind bars, followed by a lifetime of supervision.
The victim was under the age of 14 at the time the crime was committed.
