Final USD 415 Superintendent Candidate To Be Interviewed
The Hiawatha School Board on Wednesday will interview the final candidate seeking to become the new superintendent of USD 415. Superintendent John Severin said the board will interview William Orth, currently superintendent of schools at Osage City. He has held the position for three years. The board previously interviewed three other candidates. They include Adam McDaniel, currently a 7th-12th grade principal at Ell-Saline; Patrick Call, currently superintendent of schools at Haven, and Penny Hargrove, currently assistant superintendent of schools at Valley Center. The board hopes to hire a new superintendent by the end of January to replace Severin who is retiring at the end of the current school year.
